Born in Vancouver, Canada, Kelsey has been shooting in Los Angeles for over 15 years. After graduating from USC (go Trojans!), she opened the doors to her beautiful 3000 sq/ft natural light studio located in the heart of Hollywood on Melrose and La Brea. Kelsey shoots entertainers, models and musicians. She has worked with many celebrities including: Quincy Jones, Jeff Foxworthy, Jason Dolley, Neve Campbell, Kyle Massey, Bill Withers, Florence Henderson, Kin Shriner, Dakota Fanning, Boomer Esiason, Billy Bob Thornton, Laura Dern, Lalo Schifrin, Barbara Morrison, Kidd Kraddick, and LeRoy Neiman. Her work has been featured in well-known magazines such as People, US, Allure, Marie Claire, Interview and In Style. She shoots all over North America, from San Francisco to New York City. Kelsey is best known for her ability to create a comfortable atmosphere and rapport that draws clients in and allows the essence of their personality to be captured. Rather than stage an image, Kelsey converses with her clients until their interactions create the perfect candid moment. Her work is often likened to film stills. It captures the core of the actor's character, be it "edgy", "boy next door" or "leading man" in an honest, informal and spontaneous way.

As a graduate of the University of Maryland, Elaine Patarini first worked as a photojournalist covering political events on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. However, she soon decided on a change of coast and made the move to California, starting her LA career working with legendary Vanity Fair photographer Steven Meisel on a shoot with Madonna and an elephant (you'll have to ask her about that one!). And soon after that she began working on movie sets with "dream directors" such as Ron Howard, Tony Scott, Irwin Winkler, Christopher Guest, and the awesome Coen brothers, Joel and Ethan. She learned from Hollywood's best how to "direct" her clients and achieve results. Through years of working together, Kelsey and Lainie share a visual style and shooting philosophy that are evident in their collaborations.

John Torrey owned and operated John W. Torrey Photography in Montrose, California for over 30 years and, over the course of his extensive career, has become one of the Los Angeles area's most respected photographers. He specializes in portraits, wedding, architectural and fashion photography. His fashion and architectural photography has appeared in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Town and Country, along with smaller publications throughout the country. John's sense of humor and love of life are reflected in each photo he takes. He shares Kelsey's philosophy regarding the importance of humor and comfort in the studio environment as he mentored her himself in his own studio many moons ago.

Maia was raised in a small town in northern California among vineyards, llamas, and gold country. Few people possess the gift of creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere in an industry that demands quick results and leaves little room for error. Yet upon hiring Maia, Kelsey Edwards not only found one with such qualities, but also a woman whose structure and organization has made running a small business seem effortless and easy. She now has a more "behind the scenes" role at KEP so she can stay home with her two sons. (Order retouching and prints and you'll get to talk to her!) Her life philosophy is "You think that the goal is to be over there, and we say the goal is the journey over there; the goal is the fun you have along the way on your way to over there."--- Abraham Hicks
